A woman in a cafe recognized Picasso and asked him to draw something on a napkin. He obliges and asks for a small fortune in return. She scoffs as it only took him a few minutes to draw. In truth, men and women are fairly equal on the bike. The difference comes at the top ends of efforts (climbs/sprints). Due to the muscle mass difference between the sexes, men can generate more watts, but in terms of endurance, there’s not much difference.
